FHB33c3Workshops
Experimenting and education are our main focus therefore workshops are key part of our activities at hacker events. You are welcome to join them on donation based scheme no one turned away for lack of funds, and/or give them. If you believe something should be on the list get in touch on the fhb discuss, IRC or directly with Algoldor and lets see how to make it happen. Workshops are donation based, costs below €50 are easy to cover, up to €100 doable on regular bases, if you have higher costs than that you will be not the first one, trust us, we have been there before and it worked out too but lets plan bit more cautiously in such case ... Workshops should be created as a Self organized sessions for easy coordination with 33c3 orga and putative participants and uploaded to the "FHB events table." Importantly this year Food Hacking Base 33c3 wiki will be used as the "primary source of information, therefore make sure that all "self organized sessions" are also created on our wiki (it basically only means creating the page and copying the info from self organized session and uploading picture, few minute work)!
It is up to you if you want to get the ingredients for the workshop by yourself first and get reimbursed during the event (that is very good for us), or we get you want you want and then it is covered from the workshops profit. The general guideline is that if you give workshop you should end up at least slightly in plus numbers certainly not in minus. At the previous events you and your partner/friend are welcome to join our table for the day when you give your workshop if you like to do so. We use workshops to get resources for the fhb projects so if you give a workshop and you end up in plus, it is great if you share some of the profit with fhb, more better, generally 30-50% for fhb sounds great! :-) Our workshops are donation based no one turned away for lack of funds, if you could keep to this scheme that would be great but exceptions are possible.
If you like to give a workshop please get in touch in advance so we can plan at least few weeks before the 33c3, it makes things more easy, people can book in, more time slots are available etc. However we do workshops on the last minute bases too so ... If you are not confident about giving a workshop just get in touch or pop in, you can always experiment on an "unofficial" bases and see how it goes. Many times people just flock around.
The time slots for the workshops are generally starting around 11:00 and ending up around 23:00 so we have time to clean, exception is Day 4 when we want to have all official events finished around lunch time. The slots are around two hours each, they can be modified, cleaning of the venue and handing it over in proper stage for next workshop needs to be done within the time slot for given workshop!
We plan to have two workshop venues, Workshop Venue I. will be dedicated more to the practical hands on workshops which will suit groups of 10-15 (20 max but that is over stretch) and the Workshop Venue II. will be more for demos and tasting events big enough for 20-25 people to attend. Section three is experimental kitchen by itself where just few to several people fit at the time.

Notes
Below is short list of what you actually can expect as main utilities and equipment at fhb:
- sturdy tables of around 1 m high with cooking preparation friendly surface designed for practical work
- stuckloper based floors for easy cleaning of the spills etc.
- running water with sinks (possibly cold only, water kettle)
- standardly equipped kitchen next to the workshop venue which you can use
