Keeping bees for honey and wax production is one of the oldest human activities, but enjoys a revival today as many citizen not only want to enjoy their own honey but also improve the environment.
In the beekeeping presentation, you will learn what keeping bees involves as to investment, time and work. You will learn how to prevent swarming and generally how to keep the bees happy. The presentation is designed for small scale beekeeping, typically 2-6 hives.
This presentation initiated at 35C3 and will be repeated at 36C3.
